Woodville School Help Out The Neighbourhood Plan

The Student Council of Woodville Primary School has recently been helping Debbie Edwards the Co-ordinator of the Neighbourhood Plan.

Twenty eight students, all very well behaved and professional, came to the Town Council office on Thursday 16th March to learn about the Neighbourhood Plan. The Co-ordinator gave a brief presentation about what the Plan is and how it stands within Planning and then set them all to work.

The students were given three tasks; to design posters to advertise the Neighbourhood Plan within the community, to compile a questionnaire for their peers and to run a house design competition at their school.

Keep a look out for the posters around town over the coming months.

The competition is open to all Woodville Primary School students over the Easter break. The winner and runner up from each year will be presented with a certificate from the Town Mayor and/or Deputy Town Mayor during an assembly.

The Co-ordinator and the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group would like to thank the students for their help and input, you all did an amazing job.
